Emma Macey

Dean, Academic Strategy

Emma has been a dedicated teacher for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Art Education, a Bachelor of Design, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, and is currently pursuing her Master of Educational Psychology.

Throughout her career, Emma has led numerous full-school strategic initiatives, including the restructuring admissions, replacing database systems architecture, as well as conducting funded educational research on the correlation between academic confidence and pupil wellbeing.

Emma’s work in high-performing schools both in the United Kingdom and internationally has fostered a deep understanding of business operations, process design, and pedagogy.

She enjoys all that Winchester has to offer by overseeing the Extended Project Qualification with Dr Hallinan (EPQ), Careers with Dr Guast, Libraries, ICT Integration, and staff professional development.

She also teaches Visual Arts, VIthBk Div, is a Tutor in Kenny’s, and helps induct novice rowers at the boat shed.
